This argument really annoys me. The notion that, as a parent, one can only be one thing or another. A selfless madonna or a selfish whore.

Would anyone read that batshit loony shit and give it any weight at all? I mean, throwing together reasons why you are better as a parent than someone who isn’t and waiting for the father to get out of jail… You can’t just spit the little buggers out. You also have to provide a loving and stable environment for them.
